DESCRIPTION:Rifle 201 is an intermediate-level course built for shooters who already possess a solid foundation in basic rifle skills and are ready to take the next step. This class goes beyond fundamentals\, focusing on advanced rifle techniques\, efficient weapon handling\, and the application of rifle skills in dynamic\, real-world environments. \nStudents will refine accuracy\, speed\, and consistency while learning to operate their rifle more effectively under stress. Emphasis is placed on movement\, positional shooting\, use of cover and concealment\, and tactical problem-solving in high-pressure situations. Rifle 201 is ideal for law enforcement\, military personnel\, and serious civilian defenders who want to push past static range training and develop rifle skills that translate to real-world defensive and duty-based encounters. \nThis course is about building capability\, confidence\, and mindset—training with purpose\, not just shooting groups on paper. \n  \nCourse Objectives \nBy the end of Rifle 201\, students will be able to: \n\nDemonstrate advanced rifle manipulation with increased speed\, efficiency\, and consistency\nApply improved rifle marksmanship techniques under time constraints and elevated stress\nSafely and effectively manage the rifle during dynamic movement and positional shooting\nUtilize cover and concealment effectively while engaging threats\nMake sound\, lawful\, and tactically appropriate decisions in simulated high-pressure scenarios\nIdentify and correct individual performance deficiencies through structured drills and coaching\nTransition from static rifle drills to practical\, real-world defensive application\n\nKey Topics \n\nAdvanced Defensive Rifle Shooting:\n\no Efficient presentation and engagement from ready positions\no Reloading and rifle manipulation under pressure\no Malfunction diagnosis and clearance \n\nDynamic Movement and Positioning:\n\no Shooting on the move and lateral movement techniques\no Use of cover and concealment\no Positional shooting (standing\, kneeling\, prone\, and unconventional positions)\no Engaging multiple and moving targets \n\nTactical Decision-Making:\n\no Stress inoculation and performance under pressure\no Tactical problem-solving and decision-making exercises\no Threat identification\, prioritization\, and accountability \n  \nEquipment List: \n\nAR\, AK\, or magazine fed rifle/pistol\n500 rounds of factory rifle ammo\n150 rounds of factory pistol ammo\nA good belt\nTactical Sling\nStrong side belt holster or drop leg\nEyes and ear protection\n2 pistol magazines\n4 rifle magazines\nVest or suitable wear to carry pistol and rifle magazines\nHat\, sun block\, rain gear\, we will shoot RAIN or SHINE\nKnee and elbow pads (optional)\nCamel back or other suitable container for water\nLast but not least a OPEN MIND and willingness to learn\n\nStudents should have at least one of the following qualifications: \n\nGood understanding of weapons platform and safety\nMinimum 500 rounds through the rifle overall\nIntro to Rifle or Rifle 101 Completion\nOther Firearms Training\n\n  \nImportant Information: * Minimum of 2 students must be enrolled in each class. If minimum enrollment is not met or there are thunderstorms you will be notified and rescheduled\, no refunds.
