Course Overview: Buddy Tactics 101 is designed for individuals and pairs who want to learn and master the foundational principles of working effectively with a partner in tactical situations. This course focuses on communication, coordination, and the execution of basic tactical maneuvers with a buddy. It is ideal for law enforcement, military personnel, and civilians interested in improving their teamwork skills in high-pressure environments.

Course Objectives:

• Understand the importance of communication and trust in buddy tactics.
• Learn fundamental team-based movement and positioning techniques.
• Develop coordination skills for various tactical scenarios.
• Practice and apply buddy tactics in controlled, realistic exercises.

1. Communication and Coordination:
   • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication
   • Hand signals and silent communication methods
   • Establishing roles and responsibilities
2. Movement Techniques:
   • Basic buddy movement: bounding and overwatch
   • Cover and concealment for pairs
   • Synchronizing movements with a partner
3. Tactical Maneuvers:
   • Room clearing with a partner
   • Flanking and crossfire techniques
4. Scenario-Based Training:
   • Realistic scenarios to practice buddy tactics
   • Decision-making and problem-solving as a team
   • Continuous feedback and assessment
5. Safety and Risk Management:
   • Safety protocols for team operations
   • Managing risks and mitigating potential hazards
   • Emergency response procedures for buddy teams

Prerequisites: No prior experience is required, but a basic understanding of individual handgun tactics is beneficial. Participants are encouraged to complete Handgun Tactics 101 or an equivalent course beforehand.  Also have minimum of 500 rounds through handguns overall.
