SC Carry Permit Class – Sept 12

Hello ladies,
- I hope you are excited about the class. It will be a day of learning and fun, and all I ask is that you come with an open mind and any questions that you may have. We will start at 9:30am at 8114 Old Greenville Hwy, Easley, SC. You will see a sign where you can turn in at, and if you miss it there is another driveway 50 yards past it. You can park anywhere at or around the garage and that is where we will start. If you arrive early please feel free to come on in and we will help get you started on some of the paperwork. There will be a door on the left side of the garage, as you are looking at it, for you to enter in. It is unlocked and feel free to come on in. If no one is in there we could be on the range finished setting up just go in and have a seat wherever you like. I do like to let everyone know due to issues in the past where people thought they were not at the right spot because I have my own property where I have my classroom and range.
- I will have AC and fans in the classroom but make sure you dress appropriately because we will be outside for the shooting qualification, and please ensure you don’t wear any open toe shoes or crocs. I will have bottled water available but you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks, and there is a fridge if anyone needs to keep anything cold.
- A few other things is each of you will need to bring a handgun, of any caliber, and 100 rounds of ammo for that gun, along with some eye and ear protection. If you need ammo I recommend 12 Mile Defense in Pickens but you can also find it at any place that sakes firearms, or you can also order from the web but make sure you pay attention to the shipping time to ensure that it is arriving before your class. You are also allowed to bring your gun into the classroom in case you have any questions, just PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS UNLOADED. As far as transporting we are now a constitutional carry state and you can carry it on you or anywhere you would like in your vehicle.
- If you are exercising your constitutional carry rights and carrying your gun for protection you are totally fine to wear it in the class. The only thing is you are wanting to disarm to ask questions about the gun or holster. We ask for you to allow your coach to help ensure the gun is clear. It is not any disrespect to you, we are just making sure everyone is safe and goes home safe. You can bring and use a holster, but not required to bring, while on the range. If you do not have a handgun then please reach out to ASAP to make arrangements to use one of ours, and only extra cost is for the ammo needed to complete the course.
