“Rifle 201” is an advanced course designed for individuals who already possess a foundational understanding of rifle operation and marksmanship. In this class, participants will delve deeper into the tactical application of rifles in various scenarios, focusing on enhancing their skills and decision-making abilities in dynamic environments.

The curriculum typically covers a range of topics, including:

  1. Advanced Marksmanship Techniques: Building upon basic marksmanship skills, participants will learn advanced shooting techniques such as shooting from unconventional positions, shooting on the move, and engaging multiple targets rapidly and accurately.
  2. Weapon Manipulation: Participants will refine their skills in weapon handling, including efficient reloads, malfunction clearance drills, and transitioning between different shooting positions.
  3. Movement and Communication: The class will emphasize the importance of movement in a tactical environment, including individual movement techniques, team movement, and communication strategies to maintain situational awareness and coordination during engagements.
  4. Cover and Concealment: Participants will learn how to effectively utilize cover and concealment to minimize exposure to threats while maximizing their own offensive capabilities.
  5. Decision-Making Under Pressure: Through scenario-based training exercises, participants will learn to make quick and effective decisions under stress, assessing threats and determining the appropriate response in real-time.
  6. Tactical Planning and Execution: Participants will learn how to develop and execute tactical plans for various scenarios, considering factors such as terrain, enemy positions, and mission objectives.

Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on safety, professionalism, and ethical decision-making. Participants should expect to engage in hands-on training exercises and drills designed to challenge and enhance their skills in a controlled environment. Successful completion of this course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to operate rifles effectively in high-stress, dynamic situations.

  • AR, AK, or magazine fed rifle/pistol
  • 500 rounds of factory rifle ammo
  • 150 rounds of factory pistol ammo

  • tp.gifStrong side belt holster or drop leg
  • tp.gifEyes and ear protection
  • tp.gif2 pistol magazines
  • tp.gif4 rifle magazines
  • tp.gifVest or suitable wear to carry pistol and rifle magazines
  • tp.gifHat, sun block, rain gear, we will shoot RAIN or SHINE
  • tp.gifKnee and elbow pads (optional)
  • tp.gifCamel back or other suitable container for water
  • tp.gifLast but not least a OPEN MIND and willingness to learn

Students should have at least one of the following qualifications:

  • Good understanding of weapons platform and safety
  • Minimum 500 rounds through the rifle overall
  • Intro to Rifle or Rifle 101 Completion
  • Other Firearms Training

Important Information: * Minimum of 2 students must be enrolled in each class. If minimum enrollment is not met or there are thunderstorms you will be notified and rescheduled, no refunds. We will gladly move your class to another date that works for everyone if something happens to come up and your unable to make the scheduled date.
